More on the Baseball Spreadsheet

Please add the following to your baseball spreadsheet....

*Make sure ALL data is CENTERED

1) For Pitchers, get their Strikeouts (SO, K) for the games you have gotten their other stats from. Add a column to display this information.

2) You need to have another column for Batters... "Batting Average"...which is =(cell for hits)/(Cell for at bats)

3) Under the totals column, you need to add a row labeled..."AVERAGES". The formula is : =AVERAGE( : ). Be sure to NOT include the "TOTAL" in your average.

4) For Pitchers, figure out the Earned Run Average (ERA). Add a column (ERA) and the formula is: =(Cell for Earned Runs/ Cell for Innings Pitched) * 9 .

5) Get each players 2010 salary. Add a Column after Batting Average and enter the salary. Be sure to have it in "CURRENCY" displaying the dollar sign.
